Players in the insurance industry say they are ready in terms of both the technical and resource point of view to embrace the marine cargo insurance that will see Kenyan corporates and multinational companies who are involved in the importation and exportation of goods enjoy the marine insurance product within the country. Aon Kenya insurance deputy managing director Sammy Muthui says the move will enable the country to retain marine insurance businesses in the country thereby not only boost he country’s economy but also provide job opportunities for youths.
