We bought Talbot’s shop back in 1997 and ran the business from there for years. Brendan McGowan (the auld lad) founded the company in 1981 and built it the hard way. He’s now retired – and well earned it too.
Lisa joined the business in 1997 and has since gone on to build Lisa’s Lust List into something far bigger than any of us imagined. Safe to say she’s not handling car insurace calls anymore.
I took over the life insurance side of the business in 2007 and gradually moved it toward the online model you see today
We’re no longer on the ground floor of the old shop – that’s HearMed now – but we’re still beavering away upstairs on the first floor.
That said, most people never need to visit.
While we’re based in Tullamore, the vast majority of our advice is handled over the phone and email. Whether you’re in Tullamore, Dublin, Cork or Donegal, the process is exactly the same.
