Using technology in marine insurance will aid in increasing the revenue collected by the Kenya Revenue Authority, according to the Shipping and Maritime Affairs Principal Secretary, Nancy Karigithu.
The convenience of such platforms would be beneficial not only to the person taking up the cover, but also to the government and insurer. The PS was speaking at Jubilee Insurance’s launch of its Marine Cargo Insurance online Portal.
